As such, exclusive golf-course communities are no longer only for golfing retirees; homes now include access to all kinds of active pursuits and state-of-the-art wellness facilities. New developments—even in cities—are being packaged with memberships to previously off-limits golf and social clubs among their roster of competitive amenities. This is a trend spreading across the nation—from the upcoming Panther National in Palm Beach to Frederica Estates in Sea Island, Ga., to the high-rise Mandarin Residences in Boca Raton—and farther afield.
