Overview

What is Panther National?

Panther National is a private residential golf community and club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida — the first new private golf club and community in Palm Beach County in nearly 20 years. Set across 400 acres bordered by 2,400 acres of protected nature preserve, the community is centered around an 18-hole championship golf course co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas. A limited collection of 300 memberships and a curated offering of Estate Homes and Homesites make Panther National among the most exclusive addresses in South Florida.

What is it like to be a member at Panther National?

Membership at Panther National centers on golf — the pace of daily life here is set by the championship course. Beyond golf, members have access to a full range of club amenities: sprawling clubhouse, private dining, a lifestyle club and spa, racquet sports, and a year-round calendar of social events and programming exclusive to members. The club is capped at 300 members, and the intention is for it to be a place families return to season after season.

Can you golf at Panther National without being a member?

No. Panther National is a private club and is not open to the public. Membership is currently available exclusively through home ownership. Non-members may play the course as an unaccompanied guest, but only by invitation from a current member.

What types of properties are available at Panther National?

Panther National offers five turnkey Estate Home plans designed by renowned architect Max Strang and custom homesites across three location settings — Lake Estates, Preserve Estates, and Golf Estates. Homes start at $5,195,000; homesites start at $2,095,000 and are available in ⅓-acre, ½-acre, and 1-acre configurations. Every homesite sits along the perimeter of the course rather than its interior, separated from play by water — giving homeowners privacy and water frontage.

What makes Panther National unique?

Panther National is the only golf course in the world co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas, and Golfweek has rated it the #1 residential golf course in Florida and #4 in the United States. The community pairs that course with contemporary architecture by Max Strang, direct access to 2,400 acres of protected nature preserve, and a full club amenity offering.

Who owns Panther National?

Panther National is owned by Ohana Real Estate Investors, a private real estate investment firm. Panther National marks Ohana’s first investment in a private residential community in Florida.

Golf & Course

Who designed the Panther National golf course?

The 18-hole championship course was co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas — the only golf course in the world to carry both of their names. Nicklaus is widely regarded as the greatest golfer of all time, with 18 major championships and more than 300 course designs worldwide. Thomas is a two-time PGA Champion and one of the most competitive players on the PGA Tour. Panther National marks his debut as a course designer.

How has the Panther National golf course been recognized?

Golfweek has rated the Panther National championship course the #1 residential golf course in Florida and #4 in the United States.

What is the Panther National championship course like?

The course is a true links-style design with meaningful elevation changes and uphill and downhill shots throughout — a level of natural topography rarely found in Florida golf. Roughly three million cubic yards of earth were moved to shape it, an extraordinary undertaking that gives the course its character. Playing from 4,492 to 7,864 yards, it offers a rare diversity of length that makes it a major-championship test for scratch golfers while remaining entirely accessible for every member. As Jack Nicklaus has said: "You won’t find any golf course that’s even remotely close to it in all South Florida."

Is there a short course at Panther National?

Yes. Panther National’s nine-hole, Par-3 Short Course features holes ranging from 90 to 150 yards, including an island green inspired by the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. It’s open to members, family guests, and accompanied guests — an ideal venue for a quick match, family play, or approach shot practice.

What is the Putting Course at Panther National?

The Putting Course is a nearly one-acre Nicklaus Design putting course inspired by the Himalayas Putting Course at St. Andrews. It’s the ideal gathering spot before or after a round and features every imaginable putt — and some you couldn’t dream of.

What golf programming and events does Panther National offer?

Panther National’s practice complex includes a world-class driving range with target greens grassed in Trinity Zoysia and a U.S. Open–width fairway running up the center, a Short Game Training Area with uniquely shaped greens and bunkers for wedge, pitch, and chip work, and an AimPoint Putting Green with up to 4% slope for precision putting practice. The range is built to PGA Tour standards and designed for measurable improvement.

What golf programming is offered?

The Club offers a full calendar of signature events and weekly programming throughout the season, exclusive to members.

Is there a caddie program at Panther National?

Yes. Panther National offers both walking caddies and forecaddies. A forecaddie is recommended for groups of three or more. See golf team for current fees. Panther National is a no-tipping club — gratuity applies to caddie services only.

Yes. Buyers who purchase a homesite at Panther National can build a fully custom residence. Ohana Design & Build, Ohana’s in-house design-build team, can manage the entire process from architecture through construction and interior design as a single point of contact — or buyers may bring their own architect and designer to build their own vision on any Lake, Preserve, or Golf Estate homesite.

Can I personalize a turnkey Estate Home?

Yes. Every turnkey Estate Home starts with a choice between two finish packages hand-selected by Max Strang, each carrying his design language through to the smallest detail. Buyers who want to go further can also work with Ohana Design & Build’s interior team for full customization, so a home built from one of the five plans can still feel entirely personal.

Who is the architect at Panther National?

Max Strang is the founder of [STRANG] Design, a Miami-based architecture and interior design firm. His work is grounded in "environmental modernism" — a commitment to environmental stewardship, modern design, and deep integration with the surrounding landscape. In 2022, his firm was named both "Firm of the Year" and "Architect of the Year" by the Miami chapter of the AIA. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, the New York Times, and Wallpaper*, among others. Contemporary architecture of this caliber is uncommon in this part of Florida, and pairing it with a Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas course is what distinguishes Panther National’s overall offering.
